What is Spirulina

SpirulinaKnown as the ultimate superfood it’s a natural green-blue algae which is one of the most nutrient rich foods on earth, it’s also high in protein and a great source of both antioxidants and B vitamins. We use a unique spray evaporation technique to keep all of those nutrients in place when it’s turned into a powder.

Grown in fresh water pools on a secluded island in the south China sea it’s full of everything you need to feel great in body and mind. It’s available in a powder as well as tablets, our powder is great to be added to smoothies, juices or mixed with water, it can also be easily added to food and baked goods.

Some of our favourite properties include:

  • High in B vitamins, protein and nutrients
  • 100% natural, Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Suitable for Vegetarians and  Vegans
  • Certified Organic by the Soil Association
  • Can help with digestion, supporting your immune system, healthy skin and eyes as well as reducing inflation and many more unique benefits.

How to take Spirulina Powder

The most popular way of taking our spirulina powder is by adding it to smoothies, simply add a teaspoon into your favourite smoothie and enjoy all the benefits, if you’re not a smoothie fan or want a quicker way to take it then simply mix it with water or juice.

One of the best things about having it in a powder is that you can add it many different things, for example if you make pancakes for breakfast simply add half a teaspoon into the mix, maybe you have some cereal in the morning then why not sprinkle some into it. The uses are endless you can pretty much add it to most foods, in baking or mix it into the foods you already have.
